TERMS OF SERVICE
WWW.australforge.org
Effective Date: September 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the legally binding agreement between you and KILROPOD LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17417936 (referred to as the "Company", "we", "us", or "our"). The Terms govern your use of, access to, and any purchase made through the website australforge.org (the "Site").
By browsing the Site, creating an account, or completing any transaction, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must stop using the Site immediately.
SECTION 1 — NATURE OF THE SERVICE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
1.1 What the Platform Does
The Site functions as an online intermediary that enables the buying, listing, and peer-to-peer exchange of virtual in-game items and cosmetic skins used within third-party gaming ecosystems, in particular TF2 (Team Fortress 2) and other titles distributed through Valve Corporation's Steam platform.
1.2 No Ownership Over Third-Party Assets
- We do not develop, produce, or hold any ownership rights over the virtual items exchanged through the Site.
- All trademarks, brand names, game titles, and underlying software — including but not limited to TF2 (Team Fortress 2) and other Valve properties — remain the sole property of their respective developers and publishers.
- Our role is limited to operating the listing infrastructure, processing transaction routing, and coordinating delivery through connected third-party APIs.
SECTION 2 — ELIGIBILITY AND JURISDICTIONAL LIMITATIONS
2.1 Minimum Age and Legal Capacity
Use of the transactional features of the Site is limited to individuals who have reached the legal age of majority in their country of residence. In no case may a person under 18 years of age use the Site. By using the Site, you continuously represent and warrant that you possess full legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2.2 Identity Verification (KYC/AML)
To meet international obligations relating to fraud prevention and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, we reserve the right to require identity verification, age confirmation, and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks at any stage, including registration, high-value trading activity, or withdrawal requests. Submission of falsified or misleading documentation will result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of any pending balance, and may be reported to the relevant financial authorities.
2.3 Restricted Territories
- Access to our services is unavailable to persons who are citizens of, or located in, countries or territories subject to trade embargoes, comprehensive sanctions, or equivalent high-risk regulatory designation.
- It remains your sole responsibility to confirm that use of an item-trading platform is lawful under the rules applicable to your place of residence.
SECTION 3 — ACCOUNT LINKING AND SECURITY
3.1 Steam Authentication
To access trading and inventory functions, you must connect your profile using Steam's OpenID single sign-on system. We do not collect, view, or retain your Steam password or login credentials.
3.2 Responsibility for Account Security
- You are solely and fully responsible for safeguarding your login sessions, API keys, and account settings. Any activity carried out through your authenticated account is treated as having been performed by you personally.
- We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently close accounts that display indicators of compromise, chargeback abuse, or misuse of the platform.
SECTION 4 — PRICING, CHECKOUT, AND PAYMENTS
4.1 Order Totals
Completing checkout constitutes agreement to pay the full amount displayed at the point of purchase, comprising the item price, applicable service fees, and any relevant taxes. All internal pricing is denominated in Euros (€) unless otherwise adjusted by our checkout system.
4.2 Payment Processing Standards
All payments are handled by accredited third-party payment service providers operating under Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirements. KILROPOD LTD does not collect or store full card numbers or other sensitive banking credentials.
4.3 Fraudulent Payment Methods
Use of stolen, cloned, or otherwise unauthorized payment instruments is strictly prohibited. Detection of such conduct will trigger transaction reversal, cancellation of any pending delivery, freezing of the associated account, and disclosure of relevant account information to law enforcement where required.
SECTION 5 — DELIVERY OF DIGITAL ITEMS
5.1 Delivery Mechanism
Once payment has been confirmed by our processor, purchased items are transferred to the buyer's linked Steam account via automated peer-to-peer transfer or Steam Trade Offer.
5.2 Delivery Windows
- Standard Delivery: the majority of transfers are completed within 7 days.
- Extended Delivery: delivery may take up to 14 days where delays result from Steam API rate limits, inventory sync issues, or network conditions outside our control.
- Non-Delivery Remedy: if an item has not been delivered within 14 days, you are entitled to request either a replacement item of equivalent value or a full refund to your original payment method.
5.3 Buyer Obligations for Successful Delivery
- Provide a valid and currently functioning Steam Trade URL.
- Keep Steam Guard and the Steam Mobile Authenticator active at all times.
- Ensure your account is free from active trade bans, community bans, or inventory holds.
Note: the Company bears no liability for items that cannot be delivered due to buyer-side account restrictions or inaccurate delivery details.
SECTION 6 — CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & DISPUTES
6.1 Cancellation Before Payment Clears
You may cancel an order at any point before your payment has cleared. To cancel, contact us immediately through the official support channels listed on australforge.org. Once payment has cleared, the order is treated as confirmed and becomes subject to the remaining provisions of this Section.
6.2 Waiver of the Statutory Cooling-Off Period
By placing an order for immediate digital delivery, you expressly acknowledge and agree that you are waiving the standard 14-day cooling-off period available under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This waiver applies because delivery of digital content begins, with your consent, before that statutory period would otherwise expire.
6.3 Finality of Delivered Items
Once a digital item has been successfully accepted into your Steam account, the transaction is treated as final and no refund will be issued, except where mandatory consumer protection law applicable in your place of residence provides otherwise.
6.4 Non-Delivery Claims
Where an item is not delivered, you have 30 days from the original date of purchase to submit a refund claim. This is in addition to the automatic remedy described in Section 5.2, which applies where delivery has not occurred within 14 days. Claims submitted after the 30-day window may be declined at our discretion.
6.5 Fraud Screening of Refund Requests
Every refund request is reviewed for indicators of fraud or abuse before it is approved. We reserve the right to decline a refund request where such indicators are present.
6.6 Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 14 days of approval at the latest.
6.7 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Where a chargeback or other payment dispute is filed after an item has already been delivered, we will contest it using our own transaction records, including system logs, the order invoice, and delivery confirmation records showing that the item was made available on Steam. Repeated or abusive chargeback activity may result in permanent suspension of your account and referral to the relevant payment provider or authorities.
SECTION 7 — SELLING ON THE PLATFORM AND WITHDRAWALS
7.1 Listing Requirements
Sellers must accurately describe and categorize any item listed for sale. We may remove or reject a listing at our discretion, without prior notice, where it is flagged by our automated fraud-monitoring systems.
7.2 Platform Commission
A flat commission of 10% is deducted from the final agreed sale price of every completed peer-to-peer transaction on the platform.
7.3 Withdrawal Limits and Timing
| Parameter | Detail |
|---|---|
| Minimum withdrawal | €10 per request |
| Maximum withdrawal | €5,000 per single transaction |
| Processing time | 3–7 business days after the sale is validated |
| Accepted methods | Visa / Mastercard debit cards |
7.4 Withholding and Forfeiture of Payouts
We reserve the right to delay, withhold, or reverse a withdrawal where a transaction is under active fraud review, where a chargeback is pending on the related purchase, or where account verification remains incomplete. Balances associated with accounts terminated for violation of these Terms may be forfeited in full.
SECTION 8 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the Site, including losses relating to third-party game servers, Steam platform downtime, or actions taken by Valve Corporation outside our control.
SECTION 9 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. Updated versions will be published on the Site with a revised "Effective Date". Continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
SECTION 10 — GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
SECTION 11 — CONTACT
For any questions regarding these Terms, please contact us through the official support channels listed on australforge.org.
